The aim of the article is to highlight, summarise and evaluate contribution Professor Taisiia Kivshar development bibliological science education in Ukraine, her pedagogical social activities, based on a critical analysis professional publications. research methodology involves use tools socio-communicative, systematic, historical-genetic approaches, which made it possible determine complex factors that influenced formation scientific outlook qualities professor. author also applies historiographical, source studies, analytical, comparative, bibliometric methods. novelty consists identifying main periods Kivshar’s worldview, an objective assessment facts sources professor’s biographical heritage are introduced into circulation, bibliology, library science, history Ukrainian modern librarianship biography scientifically substantiated.
